Yahoo Mail users had a commotion earlier this week because some complained about the malfunctioning service. According to the latest report, others could not access their messages on the platform.
As of writing, the company is now investigating what causes the outage. They add that they would work quickly to fix the problem as soon as possible.
Yahoo Mail Down
On Tuesday, June 28, several Yahoo Mail users reported that they could not open their messages even though they had an internet connection. If you're currently experiencing this issue, then you are not alone in this mess.
According to Yahoo! News, DownDetector has detected that there's indeed an ongoing turmoil regarding the use of Yahoo Mail. Around 7:00 AM ET, complaints kept on pouring, and they just continued until the morning.
However, it appears that the unexpected outage impacts not all users. The report says that those people who use the mobile version of Yahoo Mail did not experience any issues when it comes to accessing their messages.
Unfortunately, the problem revolves around people using the app on their desktop or laptop. Aside from the inability to open the emails, many users also said they could not send and read new messages.
Usually, the most common problem that people complain about is the "We couldn't load this message" error. This happens every time they try to open an email.
DownDetector found out that over 1,500 reports came out just a minute after the Yahoo Mail outage. It goes to show that the problem remains unsolved at the moment.
