France's Caesar artillery is one of the most efficient vehicle-mounted defense weapons used by the French Army.
Now, this gigantic gun is already owned by other countries, such as Denmark, Indonesia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand, Morocco, and the Czech Republic.
Aside from these countries, France's allies, including Ukraine, are also relying on it to defend their lands.
During the ongoing conflict with Russia, Ukraine soldiers are clearly giving Russian armies a hard time because they have Caesar artillery units.
Now, here's why this massive truck-mounted gun is quite efficient.
Why France's Caesar Artillery is Efficient in Ukraine?
According to PopSci's latest report, Caesar artilleries are pretty hard to counterattack. Although Russian soldiers have their own vehicle-mounted guns, they are still having a hard time against France's Caesars.

Here are some reasons why Caesars are more efficient compared to other artillery models:
The setup period is shorter
- The Caesar artillery only needs around 60 seconds to be properly set up. Aside from this, Caesar can also be driven away quicker (around 40 seconds) after the last shell has been fired.
Learning how to use the artillery is pretty easy
- Unlike other artillery models, Caesars is pretty easy to operate. Thanks to this, Ukrainian soldiers only need around two weeks of training before they can use France's truck-mounted weapon.
Its firepower is higher compared to other models
- The U.S. Army's M777 towed howitzer only has 18 liters of detonation chamber. This is quite weak compared to the one Caesar artilleries' have. France's artillery specifically features a 23-liter gun detonation chamber, allowing it to fire its shells more effectively.
More Countries Buy Caesar Artillery
Because France's Caesar artillery is proven to be very effective, more countries are now buying truck-mounted guns.
Breaking Defense reported that Belgium and Lithuania said that they wanted to purchase the advanced artillery unit. The Belgian Army is expected to receive the Caesar artilleries it ordered by 2027.
On the other hand, Lithuania signed a letter of intent to purchase around 18 units of France's advanced artillery model.
Meanwhile, experts previously claimed that the U.S. missile defense systems are still ineffective against ICBMs.
Previously, Japan said that Japanese fighter jets would soon be exported.
