Leica Unveils M-A Titan Film Camera For a Whopping $20,000 Price

Leica has unveiled its newest film camera Leica M-Titan Set. For those who want to cherish a bit of nostalgia in photography, you might want to rush now since there are only 250 units that will be sold around the world.

Unlike other digital and DSLR cameras, this one is timeless because it's an analog camera.

Leica M-A Titan Film Camera

Whenever we talk about photography, the first things that come to our mind are the advanced cameras from Sony, Nikon, and other camera brands. Leica is an exemption since it's on its way to releasing an unusual camera made of titanium.

According to Techcrunch, the Leica M-A Titan camera sports an APO-Summicron-M 50mm f/2 ASPH lens on top of its lightweight design. However, you should take note that you won't get it easy since it will cost you $20,000.

Back in the golden days, photographers enjoyed taking pictures of their subjects through an analog camera. With that being said, they need to change the film for every interval of the photoshoot.

As such, they can capture up to 36 frames before altering the film. It's nostalgic, especially for camera enthusiasts who have witnessed how the evolution of these gadgets progressed throughout the years.

Of course, since it's an analog type of camera, it might not be appealing to some people. Typically, Leica has targeted camera collectors for this part because people would prefer a high-end camera nowadays than to stick with a unit that produces low-quality photos.

Leica Barnack Replica

There was a time when Leica managed to sell a very vintage camera that's so rare to find. Someone purchased the Leica Barnack camera this month for a staggering price of $15 million.

Luckily, you can potentially get it without paying $15 million. According to a previous report by Digital Camera World, the Light Lends Lab is reportedly creating a prototype replica for the vintage Leica camera.

Apparently, Photo Rumors posted some pictures of the Barnack camera on Instagram. Based on the images, the bottom plate of the camera is similar to a rapid winder inspired by Abrahamson's.

Additionally, the design is very noticeable, thanks to the magnesium composition of the body. It's even highlighted with brass and a classic lens attached to it.

Over the past years, Light Lens Lab has been reviving several vintage cameras with their prototypes. It's interesting to know how the company arrived at this creation, knowing that people often go with modern models.

Back in April, Tech Times reported that Nitecore was offering a set of camera batteries that have the potential to rival Sony's. According to the article, they come with a built-in USB-C charging port. This means that you can connect it right away to your laptop's or multi-port wall's port for hassle-free charging.
