'Star Wars: KOTOR II' Bug on Nintendo Switch

As per a news story by The Verge, "Star Wars: KOTOR II" is not a new gaming title, but it only recently arrived on Nintendo Switch.

The news outlet notes that this "Star Wars" game originally debuted in 2004.

That said, players of its Switch port generally expect the gaming title to be a bit smoother as it releases on the hybrid console. After all, it has been available on Xbox consoles for nearly two decades.

But the Switch version of the "Star Wars: KOTOR II" is far from being smooth sailing, no thanks to the bugs that come with it. And the worst issue is that there's no way to complete the game.

Other bugs might be tolerable for some, but this one breaks the gaming title altogether.

According to a recent report by IGN, the developer of the Switch game has already admitted that the bug does exist on the "Star Wars: KOTOR II."

Its developer, Aspyr, said on its official Twitter account that it is aware of the bug, which breaks the game.

The devs of "Star Wars: KOTOR II" also went on to issue an apology for the inconvenience that it caused its players.

However, there are, unfortunately, no updates yet on when the developer is going to fix the annoying bug on the Switch game.

Thus, leaving players of "KOTOR II" with the broken version of the game, with no way to complete it.

Instead, Aspyr only said it is already "working on delivering the patch as soon as possible."

The developer further admits that they could not give away any estimated time of arrival (ETA) for its fix. But Aspyr assures Switch gamers that they will know once the patch is already ready for rollout.
