A lot of Star Wars fans enjoy the Knights of the Old Republic II but the game was shipped unfinished because the developer took more time than expected to complete the project.
With that, Obsidian was forced to cut content, which includes a whole playable content, to meet the deadline set by LucasArts.

What to Expect From the Game
In the sequel, the Sith are on a mission to get rid of the Old Republic. As a result, the Republic has turned to a lone Jedi who is learning to reconnect with the force. With that, the fate of the universe is in the player's hands.
Expect major decisions and serious consequences in the Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic. Therefore, make sure you make the right choice. Players will need to decide whether to save the galaxy or turn to the dark side.
A minute-long trailer gives fans a dose of nostalgia and some cool fight scenes. The trailer also takes players on a short trip through the story while showing off lightsabers, enemies, zones, and a lot more.
In the game, players will lead a crew of team members, each with their own abilities, back stories, and a lot more. Therefore, players need to make wise decisions as each choice will affect them and their crew. As the story progresses, players will also be able to master the Force.

The Knights of the Old Republic remake was mentioned as part of the Q4 Embracer Group report. Matthew Karc, a board member, talked about the game and its current status, "Aspyr has gone full in to make this the best game that they can make," he said.
He also mentioned Aspyr's relationship with Saber to help them with the game.
"We're fully confident that the game is going to be fantastic but it's a massive, massive product and massive products require a lot of effort and a lot of time to make good," Karc added.
He also said that they need to remake the game from scratch it is already very old. Karc reassures fans that they will get more information about the remake in the coming months.
With that, we can expect more information in the coming months, and possibly some kind of gameplay showcase.
For now, fans can now pre-order Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II: Sith Lords for $15.
