Fitbit Charge 5 users were complaining of a bug that prevents the wearable device from connecting to smartphones, thereby hindering its activity tracker to work for the users. According to a community forum by Fitbit, the company is aiming to fix the issue for its users, and it would aim to remove the bug that hinders connection problems.

Bluetooth connectivity from device to phone is facing a challenge, and the users suffer from this bug that affects the performance that it brings for the public since January of this year. According to 9to5 Google, the fix is coming soon, and although it is not yet here, it aims to deliver for all users affected by this issue, especially with the many challenges it faces.

Fitbit Charge 5: Activities and Data Lost for Users?

The activities are still available on the watch, and the Charge 5 will keep it for users for now, before its connection to devices and its future fix. The fix would allow a sync of its data to transfer from the wearable to its smartphone, and onto the app.

The activities and data from the current bugs are not lost for good, but it remains unavailable to access due to the issues.

Google's Wear OS on Fitbit Wearables

Google brings many options for wearable technology and it allows people to focus on keeping tabs on their activities and performance during workouts and exercises. Moreover, it allows people to more accurately monitor themselves, without needing a gym trainer to do this for them, and it gives more information about their needs in the future.

Fitbit is currently running on its native OS from Google, and it brings a new feature that monitors the heart rate for information and looks at possibilities for any irregularities. However, this is not the case for all Fitbit as some would get the latest operating system from Google, and it is something that Samsung and the internet company worked on for the wearables.

The Wear OS is here for premium Fitbit devices to use in the future, providing better access to devices and its connectivity to smartphones.

Fitbit is here to bring the public more information on their selves, strapped on their wrists to gather data and their fitness activities for the devices. However, if issues and bugs like these persist, it would be hard for the smartwatch wearable to give the smartphones a chance to take in and analyze the information that it got, hence this update is important.
