Next-gen Fitbit Luxe 2 rumors have started to spread on the internet. As the news and hints surface on the internet, rumors are pointing to when the next-gen wearable might release and how much it would cost.
Fitbit Luxe Design Makes the Wearable Match Formal or Casual Occasions
According to TechRadar, the FitBit Luxe is a fitness tracker with an "elegant design," likening it more to a piece of jewelry than a tech accessory. The publication argues that the Luxe is designed to be enough for either formal or casual occasions.
As per the publication, the Fitbit Luxe works the best when it is worn throughout the day and night. Although no official news regarding the Luxe 2 has started to surface, rumors and hints of the new gadget are appearing online.
Rumors Say Upcoming Devices Will be Called Rhea, Hera, and Nyota
Despite the lack of confirmation, in March of this year, rumors started to pop up regarding the device after references to "three new devices" appeared in Fitbit's installation files on their Android app.
One important thing that is known about the new watches that TechRadar revealed is the upcoming devices' codenames and screen resolutions. The upcoming Fitbit Luxe 2 rumored codenames are Rhea, Hera, and Nyota.
Nyota Rumored to be the Upcoming Fitbit Luxe 2
Two of the devices, as per rumors, will be squared in shape, holding the same screen resolution as the previous Fitbit Sense and Versa 3. Rumors also suggest that Versa 4 and Sense 2 might be horizontal, as described by GSMArena.
The third device is rumored to be called Nyota and might share the same screen resolution as the Fitbit Luxe 2. TechRadar, however, states that they aren't completely sure that the device will indeed be the Luxe 2.
If Rumors are Wrong, Nyota Could be the Fitbit Inspire 3
Although initially launched back in 2021, the Fitbit might already be planning to replace it with a more updated Fitbit Luxe 2. The publication noted that there could be an alternative result should the Nyota not be the Fitbit Luxe 2.
Should the company decide to go a different way for the Nyota, TechRadar states that it could be officially called the Fitbit Inspire 3 instead. The newer Inspire 3 is expected to come with a new color OLED screen to replace the Inspire 2's monochrome display.

Fitbit Luxe 2 Release Date Rumored to be on Mid-2023
The publication notes that it could make sense if the company decides to use the same display for its Luxe lineup since there are already supply chains and manufacturing processes set up, allowing the company to save on production costs.
Due to the past upgrade schedules for the Fitbit wearables, the publication suggests that the Luxe 2 will most likely launch during mid-2023. If the wearable does launch by then, the launch would be scheduled around the time the original device celebrates its second birthday.
