The time many a Call of Duty player has been waiting for is nearly here -- zombies! Long teased and now locked behind a DLC paywall, Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Exo zombie mode is finally coming next week on Xbox Live as part of the Havoc DLC pack.
Sure, the Havoc DLC also includes four new multiplayer maps, but let's not kid ourselves: zombies is where it's at. Activision knows this, and the company has released a brand new trailer showing off some of the mode's Hollywood talent. Watch below as John Malkovich, Bill Paxton, Rose McGowan and Jon Bernthal regret their decision to work at Atlas Corporation and shout off cheesy one-liners. Lots and lots of one-liners.
From the trailer it looks like the zombies fans have come to love. Get new weapons, buy upgrades, place traps; do anything and everything you can to get an advantage over the oncoming zombie hordes. And it looks like players are going to need it. These zombies run faster and jump higher thanks to their Exo Suits, and who knows what else Atlas Corporation cooked up for our heroes. Like the zombie modes featured in Treyarch's Call of Duty titles, expect a surprisingly decent storyline as well.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Havoc DLC lands on Xbox first when it goes live Jan. 27.
