Nvidia RTX 4090 Could Potentially Surpass AMD in No Time | Here's The Interesting Part

Nvidia is planning to launch the next-gen GPU in the making that will rival AMD's current flagship card. The RTX 4090 is rumored to be a strong entry of the company after a leaker spilled out some information about it.

As Techradar spotted via kopite7kimi, a well-known computer hardware tipster, the Nvidia 4090 GPU could potentially sport 128 multiprocessors.

It is expected that the Lovelace graphics card will be much better than RTX 3090 when it comes to overall performance.

That's not the only thing that's impressive with this GPU.

Another prominent leaker RedGamingTech who usually posts stuff on YouTube said that the RTX 4090 could allegedly come in September, according to the sources that he heard about.

Following this launch, the RTX 4090 eyes October release, while the RTX 4070 could potentially hit shelves in November.

It's disappointing that Nvidia has delayed the release of its Lovelace flagship once again, but RedGamingTech said that Nvidia needs more time to sell the RTX 3000 cards.

Can Nvidia Beat AMD This Time?

Previously, Nvidia's next-gen GPU was rumored to be launched in mid-July. However, it won't happen anytime, and users should stick to their existing cards before going to this high-end flagship.

Another interesting thing about this graphics card is its power usage. Again, RedGamingTech highlighted that the RTX 4090 could sit at 450W in terms of this aspect.

If Nvidia wants to surpass AMD, it should take note that the upcoming GPU should excel in power efficiency. The latter has recently touted that its graphics cards have been showing a vast improvement when it comes to performance-per-watt. This is even better compared to the usual RDNA 2 card.

Nvidia needs to continue developing a very adaptive graphics card that can withstand extreme heating issues. Another concern is the surging energy costs, which the company should consider about its product.
