Ever since "Street Fighter 6" was announced during its State of Play presentation, Capcom has been rolling out more and more details regarding the game. The once 2D game that has now evolved into something much more will allow gamers to choose an option for real-time commentary.
Capcom Announces 'Street Fighter 6' with Vicious or Aru Commentary
According to the story by Comic Book, should players choose to enable the commentary, they will be given an option of either Jeremy "Vicious" Lopez, who will commentate in English, or Aru, who will commentate in Japanese.
On top of these options, gamers will also be getting options of 13 different languages for subtitles. Players will then be able to choose which language they want the subtitles in or they can opt for the game to be played without the subtitles or commentators.
The Two Commentators Aim to Provide an Authentic Pro Fighting Experience
The two commentators, Vicious and Aru, have held a strong presence in the Capcom Pro Tour and will now be commentating on players' battles in real-time. As per the official Street Fighter website, gamers will be able to get the pro-player tournament experience with commentators during the fights.
As per the website, commentators will also become more excited when the match starts to heat up. The commentators will also provide interesting insights that can be used by beginners as learning tools on how to improve.
Trailer Shows How Commentators Provide Fighting Input of Gamers
Aside from enhancing the experience, the commentators are expected to provide critical breakdowns of the fighting moves, which could help players improve just by listening to them. The comments are still dependent on what players do, how they fight, and what type of combos they come out with.
A video was uploaded to YouTube showcasing how the "Street Fighter 6" experience will be with the commentators' inputs on the fight. The trailer shows real-life commentary and how it enhances the gaming experience.

'Street Fighter 6' to Launch on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, and PC
Of course, gamers that don't want any commentators can also opt to play the game without the inputs of Vicious and Aru. This move, however, is an interesting new feature to a game that has been strongly pegged to its genre.
While some gamers might feel like there isn't that much that "Street Fighter" can add to its experience, with the addition of commentators, gamers will be able to enjoy fighting with professional inputs from Vicious and Aru.
The game is expected to launch next year, in 2023, for the PlayStation 4, the PlayStation 5, the Xbox Series X, and the Xbox Series S. The game will also be available to PC gamers through Steam.
