Day 2 of Pokemon Go Fest 2022 has begun, and another legendary Pokemon has been added to the game. Nihilego, one of the Ultra Beasts from Pokemon Sun and Moon, will make a surprise debut in raids all through the event, giving you the chance to catch one for the first time in Pokemon Go.
Jellyfish Pokemon
Nihilego is a Tier 5 Raid boss who is a Rock and Poison-type Ultra Beast. The best Nihilego raid counters comprise powerful Ground, Psychic, Water, and Steel kinds, as well as a diverse selection of other counters. Additionally, it's 2x vulnerable to the Ground.
The Ultra Beast's bell is semi-translucent and surrounded by many white, star-shaped patterns, giving it a jellyfish-like appearance. The vivid blue wavy rim of the bell expands outward. It has gelatinous tentacles that give it a humanoid appearance as well.
The CP of the Nihilego Raid Boss is 48499, and it may be found in the following CP Ranges:
-At Level 20, the CP ranges from 2167 to 2256 with no weather enhancement.
-At Level 25, the weather boost from Partly Cloudy to Cloudy boosts the CP from 2709 to 2829.
Pokemon Go Hub also noted that Nihilego is the game's top non-mega poison type attacker. However, it lacks a Rock-type fast move and thus loses out as a Rock-type attacker, but it receives STAB as a Poison-type and completely dominates!
Pokemon Go Hub advises 4-5 high-level trainers and more if you don't have optimal teams depending on your levels and counters.
Further, here are some suggestions for defeating and capturing Nihilego before it leaves raids!
Nihilego's Weaknesses
Nihilego is a rock/poison type, making it particularly vulnerable to ground Pokemon. Ground-type strikes damage the Ultra Beast four times, making them the greatest choice for Nihilego raids.
Nihilego is additionally vulnerable to Pokemon that are water, psychic, or steel. Even though they don't deal as much damage as ground kinds, they're still viable options for dealing with the Ultra Beast.
