Google's Pixel Watch is a new device, and there are no massive spec sheets regarding the wearable technology yet, as it is still an unreleased device from the company. Some reportedly got their hands on the new smartwatch, and they talked about the performance of the new Pixel Watch, particularly with its battery life that reaches 24 hours.
Google Pixel Watch: 24 Hours Battery Life Says Reports
Google's Pixel Watch is reported to have 24 hours of battery life, says the latest report from 9to5 Google, and the initial information talks about how long it can stay on from its next charge. The report said that its single full charge could take users up to a day before it needs to recharge, and it is in full use of its functions and capabilities as a watch.
The Pixel Watch brings a battery size of less than 300 mAh, and it is almost the same as other smartwatches available in the world. In comparing it to the Apple Watch Series 7, the Cupertino giant's watch can only last up to 18 hours for its single full charge, and the Pixel Watch can go longer than that.
However, it comes inferior to the Samsung Galaxy Watch Series 4, which can last up to 40 hours before its next charge.
Are 24 Hours Enough for a Smartwatch?
Twenty-four hours is how long a day lasts before it comes as the next full rotation of the Earth on its orbit in the Sun's path. That is also the same time as the Pixel Watch's longevity to last before it needs recharging, and it is an adequate time that is available for all, but it would need constant recharging to make it work.
Google's Pixel Watch
There are many leaks regarding the famous Pixel watch from before, especially when it is still a rumor from the company and not an actual release instead of what the public sees now. Some think the device will release by Spring, but it did not arrive during that time, only seeing a release last May's I/O 2022.
The company's I/O 2022 did not disappoint as they got to unveil the first Google smartwatch that brings what it aims to offer for the world to experience, especially now that most smartphone releases have partner watches. Google is known for its Wear OS, a joint venture with Samsung that focuses on everything about smartwatches.
With the Wear OS and its experience with Fitbit that also connects to smartphones, Google is set to create a Pixel-branded smartwatch that will complete its smartphone experience. The Pixel Watch is not yet here, but they're already are reports regarding its upcoming features that may help in completing the smartwatch experience.
