Apple WWDC Schedule Announced; Here's How to Stream It

On Tuesday, May 24, Apple confirmed that the keynote event for the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) would start at 10:00 a.m. Pacific Time on June 6. which is the first day of the event.

The keynote will be an online-only event, but a select number of developers have been invited to the Apple Park campus for a viewing event.

Aside from confirming the keynote date and time, the tech giant has also shared the full WWDC 2022 schedule.

Following the keynote, the Platforms State of the Union for developers will happen on June 6 at 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time.

The Apple Design Awards will follow on June 6 at 5:00 p.m. Pacific Time, and beginning on June 7, the tech giant will provide session videos on all of the new features coming to iOS 16, tvOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS 13, and watchOS 9.

Apple engineers and designers will also be hosting several activities in Digital Lounges during the event, allowing developers to engage in technical discussions, get answers to fan questions, and connect with the community, according to MacRumors.

The tech company recommends that developers download the Apple Developer app to experience WWDC22 and keep up with the announcements.

The Apple Keynote will be held on June 6 at 10 a.m. Pacific Time. This features the first look at groundbreaking updates coming to Apple platforms in 2022, according to 9to5Mac.

The keynote address will be available through Apple.com, the Apple Developer app, the Apple TV app, and YouTube, with on-demand playback available after the conclusion of the event's stream.

Platforms State of the Union will be held on June 6 at 1 p.m. Pacific Time. The developers will learn how they can take their apps to the next level with a deeper dive into the new tools, advances, and technologies across Apple platforms.

Starting June 7, new videos will be released every day that will give you the chance to learn how to create the most innovative apps and games. You can watch on the web or in the Apple Developer app for iPhone, Apple TV, iPad, and Mac.

You can also get one-on-one guidance from Apple designers, engineers, and experts with Labs. You can also learn how to implement new Apple technologies, improve your App Store product page, explore UI design principles, and more. The requests open on June 6.

You can also join Apple engineers and designers throughout the week as they host Q&As, watch parties, and community icebreakers on Digital Lounges. The registration opens on May 31.

Also, you can explore some of the latest technologies and frameworks through daily coding and design challenges, and you can share your creations with other fans on Challenges.

You can even connect with the developer community on the Apple Developer Forums. You can view the forums or sign in with an Apple ID so you can ask questions.

On June 6 at 5 p.m. Pacific Time, you can watch the Apple Design Awards. The Apple Design Awards recognize and celebrate the craft, creativity, art, and technical expertise Apple developers bring to their work.
