Elon Musk is yet again ranting on Twitter, and it is still about the ESG or the environment, social, and governance which became a massive issue against Tesla for getting low ratings. Compared to other companies, particularly those with massive oil production, Tesla got a lower score, and it is a significant one for investors globally.
Elon Musk Calls the ESG a Scam for its Tesla Assessment
The Tesla CEO decided to go to Twitter today and get furious, as it is a platform that people can use to bring their rants and bad blood in life for release. In his tweet, the tech billionaire said that the ESG is a "scam," and that it is a tool that is "weaponized" by the governing body that is behind it and does the assessments for the world.
Here, Musk mentioned that Exxon, a global oil company, rated in the top ten best companies for the ESG by S&P 500, and he said that Tesla did not make the list for this ranking.
Tesla is still a company that focused itself on massive clean energy ventures like electric vehicles, battery production, and home integration of modern solar roofing and the Powerwall.
Musk went ahead and said that the ESG consists of "phony social justice warriors."

Other Companies Get High, Despite its Environment Issues
However, it is not yet over for the CEO. Musk tweeted another photo in a meme template that asks the ESG what it is, and in that meme, the answer is that it determines the compliance of one's business, and it is towards a "leftist agenda." He also said in the tweet that Tesla did "more" for the environment compared to other companies that bring their service to the world.
Elon Musk, Tesla, and the ESG
Back in March this year, Elon Musk already said some stuff about the ESG and its bad rating that they give to Tesla, despite one of the pillars of its ratings and assessment being for the environment. Tesla is first and foremost an electric vehicle manufacturer and it focuses on a clean energy campaign that is available to the whole world.
Tesla is one of the top choices for electric vehicles and clean energy for many purposes, both for personal and commercial use in the current landscape. It is the chosen fleet of electric vehicles by Uber for its move to transition its ride-hailing features to clean energy.
Uber is not the only company that employs Tesla for its ride-hailing features directed toward clean energy.
For everything that Tesla did for the environment, from clean energy cars to solar-powered homes, down to previously denouncing Bitcoin for its coal use, it is expected to rank high on the ESG. However, that is not the case, and now, the Tesla CEO is furious against the governing body that looks over its assessment for the world.
