Arkane Studios' Deathloop update made the shooting game more exciting than ever!
Hailed as the game of the year in 2021 by GameSpot, Deathloop just recently released its third major update, which brings in multiple accessibility features, a stunning photo mode to satisfy your aesthetic cravings, and free Playstation 5 avatars to enjoy.
Free PS5 Avatars
If you want to maximize everything that the game offers, the best way to do that is to avail all of their cool and colorful characters like the heroic Colt and the eccentric Visionaries! Overall, there are nine avatars that are up for grabs, and here is how you can redeem them from each region:
- SIEA (North America, South America) - 7673-6HNN-K887
- SIEE (Europe, Africa, Middle East, Oceania) - 3XF7-QANX-CJ6A
- SIEJ (Japan) - QQH5-75NA-3TBP
- SIE Asia (Asia) - KB3H-FQNJ-5BCT
- SIEK (South Korea) - AN6J-FGNM-CCH7
To redeem them in your PS5, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > select Users and Accounts.
- Click Account > select Payment and Subscriptions > go to Redeem Codes.
- Enter the code and choose Redeem.
Aesthetic Photo Mode
If the game isn't cool enough for you, the new update will have Deathloop's own Instagram, where you can capture your avatars with a wide array of stickers, filters, poses, and other customization options in the game's new Photo Mode. However, it must be noted that this will only be available in single-player mode.
You can access the feature in the Pause Menu and on any map by selecting the Photo Mode shortcut. Here is the step by step process to do that:
Options > Controls > 'Controller' tab > Photo Mode Quick Access > Yes
When you have already opened the game, double click the Create button (button to the left of the touchpad) on your DualSense controller to enable Photo Mode.
Besides the filters and angles, the photo mode will also let you swap between Colt and Julianna, it also lets you change your outfits, weapons, and you can also select from various poses.
Improved Accessibility Features
The third game update will feature over 30 improvements and various accessibility options, from menu navigation enhancements and interface options to select multiple gameplay options. Additionally, it also added a dedicated Accessibility category, which is located in the options menu.
The updated menu will summarize the existing options as well as many of the other options brought up by this update, such as:
- New gameplay settings that enable players to have more customization combats in Single-Player Mode (reminder: this is not usually available for Online or Friends modes). It will also add an option to increase or decrease combat difficulty and adjust the number of Reprises and the speed of the game.
- Brand-new HUD and subtitle options, like customizing the size, opacity, and color of several text and graphical elements
- Improved menu navigation, which allows for the use of directional buttons on the controller to browse through the up and down menu lists. Players will also have the option to adjust the cursor speed to aid with navigating the settings with a controller.
