Ever since the billionaire purchased the social media giant, Twitter's future has been questioned by critics. Many of them were concerned about the platform's safety under the hands of Musk.

Now, it seems like the new rumor about Elon being Twitter's new CEO will be another issue. Here's how it can happen.

Elon Musk as New Twitter CEO?

According to CNBC's latest report, there's a high chance that Musk will be the next Twitter CEO. But, if this happens, it will only be temporary.

Anonymous sources claimed that this would happen once the billionaire completes his $44 billion takeovers of the giant social media site.

Based on the latest SEC filing, it seems like Musk is getting near to his goal. The Daily Mail UK reported that the Tesla CEO could secure around $7 billion from 18 investors.

Musk said that one of the investors that helped him with his latest funding is Larry Elisson, an Oracle Corp co-founder, who provided around $1 billion.

Aside from this, other investors, such as Sequoia Capital, Brookfield, and Qatari Holding, also chipped in to achieve the new $7 billion fund.

Will Parag Agrawal Allow It?

Twitter CEO Parag Agrawal hasn't confirmed if he is against or okay with Elon Musk taking over as the new chief executive officer.

"Once the deal closes, we don't know which direction the platform will go," said Agrawal.

As of writing, Parag has been handling Twitter for just a few months after Jack Dorsey stepped down from being the social media platform's CEO back in November 2021.

Since there are a lot of things happening with Twitter, even Agrawal is now unsure regarding the next activities on the platform, such as the return of former POTUS Donald Trump.

Although this is the case, the Twitter CEO is doing his best to increase the daily active users of the platform, as well as bring new products to consumers.

Meanwhile, Elon Musk said that he plans to make Twitter public again.

On the other hand, Musk's Twitter partner brand investigation will soon happen.
