Envision's new smart glasses for the blind arrive. For the past few years, various tech firms have created different technologies to help visually impaired individuals.
Just like the recent blind-assisting techs, the new smart glasses of Envision also rely on artificial intelligence.
But, this new AI-based wearable doesn't make blind people see the objects in front of them. Instead, it allows them to detect the things around them through sound.
Now, here's how Envision's new smart glasses work.
Envision's New Smart Glasses for Blind People Arrives!
According to BGR's latest report, the new smart glasses of Envision have a small built-in speaker that can alert blind or visually impaired individuals.
Using its small camera, which is located on the wearable's side, it can scan things and people surrounding the user. After successfully scanning the objects around you, it will use its speaker to notify you.
Aside from informing you if you are going to hit an object, the new Envision smart glasses also allow blind individuals to contact their friends and family members via video calls.
Thanks to this, your loved ones can also assist you if you are out in public alone.
"Envision Glasses brings our award-wining software to smartglasses, enabling an unprecedented experience of hands-free and unobtrusive experience of accessing the visual world," said the tech firm via its official website.
