National Bravehearts Day 2022 for Kids with Cancer
According to National Today, National Bravehearts Day is an annual celebration and commemoration to remember and join hands with the kids affected by cancer. It celebrates those that cancer plagues, and supports them for their struggles and hardships brought by the disease, especially those starting their lives.
Cancer alone is a hard battle for an individual, and even adults that suffer from it get massive hard times in dealing with the disease. However, cancer is equally or harder when a child that is starting their life and building their dreams gets affected by it, as no one can fathom what they are going through, with fears of losing their aspirations one day.
How did National Bravehearts Day Start?
The organization that started this awareness and commemoration for kids with cancer is the BraveHearts for Kids, a movement that helps spread awareness and bring assistance to those in need. Parents Amy and Jeremy Jacobs started the BraveHearts for Kids organization when their toddler got diagnosed with a medulloblastoma brain tumor.
Now, the organization hopes to provide a spotlight and help those that got affected by pediatric cancer.
Cancer and Its Many Effects
Many health technologies now focus on creating a cure for cancer, but these are all experimental ones as the disease is complex and hard to solve despite the advancements in medicine. There are certain algorithms and programs that medical researchers use and develop to predict the diseases' development for all their needs.
Cancer is a disease that plagues many people, and there are chances that a person may develop this due to genetics and other factors that contribute to its development. However, that does not mean that it is the end of the line for them.
Medical developments now focus on getting rid of cancer with chemotherapy, where researchers made a device to avoid hair loss while undergoing the treatment.
The disease does not pick an age to which it afflicts with its harmful effects, but that does not mean their spirits should be down or have no hope for recovery. The National Bravehearts Day and other global events commemorate those with struggles in life, especially as their future is on the line with it.
Kids, continue the fight and join hands with those that do not forget what you do for your futures.
