This means that there could still be some changes to the new in-app function. The giant Meta-owned platform still hasn't confirmed when will it officially launch the new feature.
Although this is the case, some app enthusiasts already shared how the new function works. Since it is a Pin Post function, this means that Instagram consumers can use this to pin some of their favorite posts.
This will help your followers to see the best photos or videos you have, saving them time from scrolling down your profile.
TikTok and Twitter already have this feature. As of writing, it is still unclear how many posts can the new feature pin on your profile.
Other New Instagram Enhancements
Aside from the new Pin Post feature, Instagram is also rumored to be working on another enhancement that will help users discover and support social causes easier and faster.
They can do this by searching certain hashtags that are included in the social cause posts. If you want to see more details about this new IG function, you can visit Tech Crunch's report.
