A Google Pixel Watch prototype was accidentally left in a restaurant. This is a big deal since the search engine giant hasn't launched its own smartwatch.
Although the tech giant firm is offering its WearOS software, it is only used by other manufacturers for their own Android smartwatches.
Now, experts claim that the device found in a U.S.-based restaurant is the prototype of the first Google smartwatch model.
They acquired some essential information proving that the gadget might really be a testing version of the new Google Pixel Watch.
Google Pixel Watch Prototype Spotted in a Restaurant!
According to PC Mag's latest report, the spotted Google Pixel Watch prototype also has its box. The container of the gadget states that the wearable device is only for internal development and testing.
If this is true, then there's a high chance that Google will soon unveil its own Android smartwatch. Because of the viral images leaking on the internet, many rumors claimed that this prototype is the one that Jon Prosser, a well-known tech enthusiast, leaked way back in April 2021.
As of press time, Google hasn't confirmed if this device is really its first Android wearable gadget. This scenario is not new.
Back in 2010, an iPhone 4 prototype was also spotted in a bar. After a few months, Apple launched a new smartphone in the same year.
This also might happen with Google, given that the search engine giant will conduct its I/O 2022 developer conference. Because of this, many experts claimed that the tech firm would debut its first smartwatch on May 11, which is the schedule of the tech event.
What the Prototype Looks Like
Android Central provided the images of the new Google Pixel Watch prototype. Based on the leaked photos, the new Android smartwatch will have a black-silver color scheme.
On the other hand, it will have a rubber wristband in the color blue. Aside from this, the "G" logo of Google also appeared on the screen of the new wearable prototype.
