Before Riot Games launched Aurelion Sol in the Summoner's Rift, many players were excited because of his lore. Based on ASol's "League of Legends" story, he is a celestial dragon that lived billions of years ago.
Aurelion Sol is the hero that forged many suns and tricked the mortal world. Based on his lore, he is considered among the most powerful characters in the League.
But, it seems like the official gameplay of ASol did not properly portray his lore. This is what Riot Games want to change.
'League of Legends' Aurelion Sol To Have CGU
According to NME's latest report, the new "League of Legends" Roadmap, which is expected to arrive before 2022 ends, will bring the new ASol CGU (Comprehensive Gameplay Update).

"Back when we announced the Star Forger, a lot of you were super hyped for his release. So hyped that he had one of our highest purchase rates on day one," said Riot Games via its official blog post.
But, the game developer admitted that their dev team wasn't able to deliver the Aurelion Sol gameplay that fans were expecting to have.
At first, Riot Games tried to tweak some skills and mechanics of the dragon hero. However, they decided to start from scratch to offer a new in-game experience.
There were some heroes that already received massive adjustments, such as Sion and Urgot. But, their overall gameplay kits were not changed.
What To Expect From ASol's CGU?
Riot Games hasn't confirmed the exact skill and mechanic changes that players will see from the new version of Aurelion Sol.
But, the game developer said that ASol would have a new visual appearance in the Summoner's Rift, saying that they want t to emphasize his dragon fantasy story.
