"League of Legends" players seem to hate the new ADR (Attack Damage Range) hero, Zeri. Riot Games released her in January.
Although it was just a few months after she arrived in the Summoner's Rift, many gamers always ban her in ranked games, as well as normal matches.
Reddit user u/SunnyCoveredRain shared his concern regarding the new marksman even after the giant title creator released her in "League of Legends."
He said that Zeri, as well as new heroes, should be unavailable in ranked games until players are able to adjust with her gameplay.
'League of Legends' Players Hate Zeri?
One of the major issues with "LoL" players is that they usually use new heroes in ranked games even though they are not familiar with their gameplays and skill sets.
The scenario will either end up with you getting wrecked by the enemy Zeri, or your team being defeated because your Zeri teammate is not familiar with the character.
D1Soft Ball News reported that Zeri received a 56.2% ban in ranked games in "League of Legends" Patch 12.4. This means that the new ADR champion is actually banned in almost 50% of the games.
On the other hand, her win rate is also not that high. Compared to Kogmaw, Vayne, and Jhin, her win score is below these three carries.
Riot Games Will Nerf Zeri
Dot Esport reported that Riot Games has been adjusting the new hero after she was released to satisfy "League of Legends" players.
Now, the upcoming "LoL" Patch 12.6 of the title creator will include adjustments for Zeri that will nerf the new hero.
August Browning, the lead game designer of "League of Legends," confirmed this detail via his official tweeter account. Now, here are the changes that Zeri will be receiving once Patch 12.6 is launched:
- Shift armor scaling into health (makes her Passive shielding and HP purchases worse)
- Shift damage out of base AD to decrease power with sheen
- Lower overall damage and mobility
