According to a report by Macrumors on Thursday, Apr. 14, you can access the Control Center without touching the screen by using a feature called Back Tap.

From your iPhone, you can easily double or triple-tap the rear of your device thus assigning a designated action for it. In this case, you will be using Back Tap to activate the Control Center panel on your device.

Interestingly, you can fully run it without the need to tap the screen with your hands, so it's hassle-free and very convenient to utilize.

It should be noted that your device should be iPhone 8 or a later version. You should also remember that it should have an iOS 14 or newer operating system on your device.

Once the requirements are already met, you can now begin assigning the Control Center through this feature.

Steps to Follow For Accessing the Control Center Through Back Tap

For more information, check the procedures below.

  1. First, open the Settings app from your device.
  2. Then, click "Accessibility."
  3. Once you're done with it, go to the "Physical and Motor" section and click "Touch."
  4. Scroll further down until you see "Back Tap."
  5. After finding it, you can now trigger an action that you want to happen by tapping "Double Tap" or "Triple Tap."
