iPhone Control Center is a feature released by Apple Inc. to allow users to see the active messages and applications while their devices are locked. However, this function also allows other individuals to pry on a smartphone easily.
This could be annoying, especially when you are not on good terms with those people. But, a viral TikToker showed how users can actually deactivate their handset's Control Center.
TikTok creator ambre_skye's trending video already generated more than 74,000 likes and 460 comments.
If you would visit her official account, you will notice that most of her videos are about iPhone tricks. The iPhone Control Center deactivation guide is just one of her viral content. You can click this link to see more of her works.
How To Turn Off iPhone Control Center
According to The Sun's latest report, ambre_skye's video is pretty easy to follow.
The first thing you need to do is access your device's settings. After that, you need to scroll down and choose the "Face ID & Passcode" option.
Once you are there, you will be required to enter your iPhone passcode or password once again. After that, you must find the "Control Center" or "Notification Center" button.
When you find it, all you need to do is toggle off the feature. The TikToker claimed that this trick would prevent other people from snooping your iPhone from the lock screen.

Although most of these tips are quite effective, some tricks are fake, such as changing the iPhone Voicemail, which experts confirmed would not help users stranded.
Having More Private iPhone Activity
Computer World provided some tips on how you can stay more private when you are using your iPhone. Aside from the Control Center feature, you would also find other functions under the "Face ID & Passcode" or "Touch ID & Passcode" section.
Here are the following features you can deactivate:
- Reply with Message
- Home Control
- Return Missed Call
- Today View
- Notification Centre
- Siri
But, before you turn off one of them, you still need to know if these features still need to appear when your smartphone is on lock mode.
