In this way, this special application will handle all the activities that you will do with your files. How do you use Finder?
What is Finder?
According to How to Geek, a Finder is Mac's official file manager that you can use to organize your files. It's very accessible and all you need to do is to tap its icon which resembles a blue-colored smiling face.
It's also possible to open many Finders simultaneously. To do so, go to the File and click New Finder Window from the menu bar. You can pull this off easily by clicking the hotkey combination of Command+N on your keyboard.
The Finder allows you to double-click the folders and look for the list of folder locations. You can also head to the "Go" menu so you can explore them. The side bar is also accessible through this app.
To instantly search for the particular content of a folder, press View then Sidebar. For another option, tap Ctrl+Command+S.
Alternatively, you can use Spotlight to quickly access the documents on your Mac. You can see it by tapping the icon bearing a magnifying glass (click Command+Space).
