Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus is likely to be released earlier than previously scheduled, which is rumored to be sometime in June or July.
The rumored flagship system on a chip or shortly known as SoC of Qualcomm, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus, is slated to headline upcoming premium Android smartphones this 2022.
Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus Release
Currently, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 powers some of the latest flagship smartphones out there from brands like Samsung, OnePlus, and Xiaomi.
However, as per a news story by Android Central, Qualcomm is rumored working on a new flagship chip aptly called the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus.
The new Qualcomm chipset is reportedly nearing its release on the first smartphone that would be sporting the Plus version of the flagship chip.
According to a recent report by GSM Arena, an unnamed source close to the matter claimed that the Plus model of the Snapdragon chip is rolling out with a new flagship mobile device that will be released either in June or July.

Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus to Debut in China?
The news outlet said in its story that some early rumors were suggesting that the first phone that would feature the new Plus chipset will be the OnePlus 10 Ultra.
However, reports are also saying that the OnePlus 10 Ultra could get either another chip brand, the Dimensity 9000. But it could also follow suit with the OnePlus 10 Pro, which sports a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1.
Meanwhile, as per the latest report by GizChina, the upcoming OnePlus 10 Ultra is expected to be the first "super flagship" mobile device of the Chinese phone maker.
On top of that, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus could also debut in a Motorola smartphone, either the Motorola Edge 30 Ultra or the Motorola Frontier.
It is worth noting that some leaks have already been predicting that the upcoming Motorola smartphones could likely feature the new Plus chipset.
The media outlet went on to add that the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus is likely debuting in China before anywhere else in the world. It comes as the rumored devices that are reportedly rolling out with it are also slated to release in the Chinese market first.
