SpaceX will soon send Axiom Space's first crewed spaceflight. The upcoming space mission will launch four private astronauts.
"We are taking the first step in a next-generation platform initiative that's going to bring working, living, and research in space to a much broader and more international audience," said Axiom Vice President Michael Lopez-Alegria, who is also a retired NASA astronaut.
Lopez-Alegria added that they would start a new human spaceflight era.
SpaceX To Send Axiom Space's Ax-1 Crew
According to Space.Com's latest report, four astronauts will be on the Ax-1 spaceflight. Here are the passengers of the first Axiom Space crewed mission:

Larry Connor
Connor is the Ax-1 pilot. He is an experienced astronaut who has already won five aerobatic competitions. He even participated in some U.S. National Aerobatic Championships.
Mark Pathy
Mark Pathy, the current CEO of MARVIK, a sustainable investment company, will be the Ax-1 mission specialist. Aside from this, he is also the chair of the board of Stingray Group.
Eytan Stibbe
Stibbe is another mission specialist for the upcoming Ax-1 spaceflight. He recently worked as a fighter pilot for the Israel Air Force. Thanks to his expertise, he can now reach outer space.
Michael Lopez-Alegría
Lopez-Alegria is the Ax-1 commander. He is a well-experienced NASA astronaut that already flown in various space missions, such as the recent ISS Expedition 14. On the other hand, he also holds the record for most spacewalks performed at the International Space Station.
Ax-1's Launch Date and Other Details
Forbes reported that the upcoming Axiom Space Ax-1 mission is slated on Wednesday, Apr. 6. The spaceflight was already delayed and supposedly launched on Apr. 3.
You can watch the space agency's official live stream on the website. The broadcast is expected to start exactly at 8:40 a.m. on Apr. 6.
Each of the private astronauts paid Axiom Space $55 million for their seats.
On Mar. 22, Starlink's prices increased, and Elon Musk said that the worsening inflation rate was blamed.
Meanwhile, SpaceX's Falcon 9 will be used by OneWeb to send its satellites.
