SpaceX will soon launch a top Swiss curator as part of its Mars colonization effort. He will be in orbit riding a SpaceX spacecraft around 2035.
But, this estimated launch date will still depend on the issues that the independent space company and the museum keeper will encounter in the near future.
"The exhibition will be the avant-garde expression of our great civilization," said the high-profile Swiss curator.
SpaceX To Launch Top Swiss Curator Into Orbit
According to The Art News Paper's latest report, the Swiss curator's real identity has still been kept a secret since there's a chance that a SpaceX rival can acquire him instead.
Elon Musk said he doesn't want Branson or Jeff Bezos taking "his guy."
The well-known museum keeper has already handled some leading galleries in London and other major contemporary exhibitions across the globe.
On the other hand, the curator shared why he decided to contact SpaceX. The anonymous art expert said that agencies couldn't send an artwork into space without the help of curators.
After that, the individual decided to send a message to Musk, to which the billionaire responded. Elon and the Swiss curator are already in talks about the first Mars space art exhibition.
SpaceX Still Focuses on Satellite Launches
Although the upcoming Mars space art exhibit is quite exciting, the independent space agency still focuses on its satellite launches.
Teslarati reported that Elon Musk is preparing to send 40 customer sats from Cape Canaveral Space Force Station LC-40 pad. But, the space mission's date is still unsure since there's a 30% chance of favorable conditions.
