Discord underwent a brief outage recently, but the team behind the app has quickly resolved the issue. You can now enter again to the voice channels and chat with your friends.
Discord Suffers From Short Outage
According to an early report by Comicbook on Wednesday, March 30, many people complained about the problem that they were experiencing on Discord.
Some said that they could not communicate with their friends because they could not connect to the servers. At that time, others could not access several chat functions that they usually use on the digital distribution platform.
For those users who have stumbled upon this problem, it should be noted that this was not the first time that Discord encountered an outage.
Earlier this year, the app had issued that a global outage took place, per a report from Tech Times. The worldwide problem has disrupted about 150 million users who rely on the instant messaging app.
As one of the solutions, Discord reportedly blocked the incoming users to reduce the site's traffic load. This would also help the developers to gradually "raise the limits" of people who were about to log in to the app.
As for the latest outage, the team has informed the users that they were rolling out a small update for its fix.
"We're currently investigating message send/connection difficulties," said a message on the Discord website," the team wrote at that time.

No More Down Discord Servers
Surprisingly, it did not take the team an hour or more to fix the issue. The down servers on Discord were instantly resolved for a few minutes only which means that the company has indeed investigated the recent outage.
At around 5:46 PM ET, KnowTechie reported that the response of the team was swift. Having said that, all previous problems are now void and all systems are now operational.
