Samsung Smart Monitor M8 full specs have been unveiled, showcasing it as a 4K monitor that runs into a smart TV, outsmarting the new offering of Apple, the Studio Display.

As per a press release by Samsung, the new 32-inch Smart Monitor of the South Korean tech giant comes with a look that evokes sophistication.
But it does not skimp on functionality as it comes with various connections like a micro HDMI cable, a USB-C cable, and a tiny remote for its smart functionalities.
To be more precise, Samsung's new monitor sports three external ports, such as an upstream USB-C port, a downstream USB-C port, as well as a micro HDMI port. Not to mention that the USB-C provision in the middle could charge devices that support up to 65W fast charging.
What's more, the new M8 monitor also features support for SmartThings Hub, which allows its users to easily connect their Internet of Things devices at home.
On top of that, it also connects with smart appliances via its Bluetooth and infrared spectroscopy or IR, which could be controlled by using voice assistants, such as Amazon Alexa and Samsung's very own, Bixby.
For the specs of the display, the Smart Monitor M8 flaunts a UHD or up to 3840x2160 resolution, 400 nits of brightness, 99% sRGB color gamut, and HDR10+ support.
Plus, it also comes with stereo speakers that feature a 2.2 channel and Adaptive Sound+.
As such, the new Smart Monitor could deliver a more detailed sound and visual.

Samsung Smart Monitor M8 vs. Apple Studio Display
According to a recent report by Smart House, the Apple Studio Display comes at a more expensive price tag, to begin with, compared to the new Samsung Smart Monitor M8.
The monitor of the South Korean tech giant sells for $700. On the other hand, the Studio Display costs $1,599. That said, the price of the new Apple monitor could get you two Smart Monitor M8.
However, it is worth noting that the Studio Display comes with a 5K Retina screen and higher brightness of up 600 nits.
Thus, the Samsung Smart Monitor has a lower resolution and slightly dimmer display than the more expensive Apple counterpart, but it comes with various smart features.
