Meta's executives, including Mark Zuckerberg, are now taking WFH more seriously as many of them are seen doing their jobs far from the Silicon Valley.
Right, many companies are already allowing their employees to go back to the office. One of these tech firms is Google, saying that employees can return to the office starting April.
However, it seems like Meta's executives have other plans. According to The Wall Street Journal's latest report, Mark Zuckerberg and other executive officers of Meta are seen scattering to areas far away from the Silicon Valley.
Meta Executives Embrace WFH Even Further
Meta's Head of Product, Naomi Gleit, is believed to have relocated to New York. Meanwhile, Alex Schultz, Meta's Chief Marketing Officer, has transferred to U.Okay.
Aside from these two, Meta's Chief Development Officer, Javier Olivan, is currently moving between California and Europe. A company spokesperson said that Olivan might also spend more time overseas.
On the other hand, the Head of Instagram, Adam Mosseri, was also seen touring around Los Angeles, Cape Cod, and Hawaii. But, he is not going on a vacation since he is working in these places.
Meanwhile, Mark Zuckerberg is also seen spending extra time at his compound in Hawaii.
"The previous few years have introduced new potentialities around the methods we join and work. We believe that how people work is far more important than where they work from," said Tracy Clayton, Meta's spokesman.
Meta Really Encourages WFH
If you visit Meta's official website, you will see that Meta offers some tips on how employees can efficiently work remotely.
The company wrote articles explaining how managers can do their job properly while working outside the office. Aside from them, the tech firm also shared some tips for employees who are taking care of their kids.
This just shows that Meta is still one of the companies that encourage work from home.
In other news, Meta Facebook stock increased by around 4.16%. Meanwhile, Meta's Campus App was recently removed.
