Ukrainian Tesla employees can receive three months of their salaries if ever they will be required to defend their country. Right now, Russia and Ukraine are still in conflict.

Because of this, there's a possibility that Ukrainians working for Tesla will be conscripted to support Ukraine. To help them, the giant automaker released an email message confirming its support through the 3-month salary.

The message was sent to Ukrainian staff located in the Middle East, Europe, and Africa region. However, Tesla did not confirm if those in North America are also eligible.

According to CNBC's latest report, the three-months' worth of salaries is among the efforts made by Tesla during the conflict between Russia and Ukraine.

The American automaker said that this could be followed by other benefits as it tries to re-assess its action plans to further help its employees.

"Tesla is committed to doing the right thing. Whilst the situation in Ukraine is evolving, we wanted to share with you what actions are being taken to support those impacted by the conflict," said Tesla in an email message is sent to Ukrainian employees.

The EV maker added that Ukrainian staff who are conscripted to return to their country will be able to retain their positions as well.

McDonald's, Coca-Cola, Starbucks Ban Russian Sales

Unlike Tesla, other tech firms have their own ways of helping Ukraine, such as halting their operations in Russia.

BBC News reported that Coca-Cola, McDonald's, and Starbucks are now the latest companies joining the growing list of firms stopping business in the Russian nation.

Aside from them, Imperial Brands, a tobacco company, also paused its business operations in the country.

In other news, Russian officials decided to ban the use of Zello, a walkie-talkie communication app. Meanwhile, the Russian state media no longer have access to Ukraine's Facebook.
