According to HITC's latest report, in the old viral interview, the Microsoft founder is warning people about the influence of Elon when it comes to crypto investments.
"Elon has tons of money and he's very sophisticated so I don't worry that his Bitcoin will randomly go up or down," said the billionaire.
He added that although many people don't have spare money for crypto investments, they are influenced by Elon Musk and other rich individuals to purchase digital coins.
Gates further explained that if consumers who are interested in buying Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies don't have the kind of luxury that Musk has, they need to be more careful.
Gates Says Don't Follow Musk
Aside from warning crypto investors who don't have spare money, he also said that people also need to avoid paying attention to what Tesla's CEO suggests about cryptocurrencies, as reported by The Sun.
Just like other people, Bill Gates also recently believed that Dogecoin was supposed to be a "joke." However, Musk was able to influence many investors into putting their money in his promoted digital coin.
Gates said that Elon's ideas about energy-efficient vehicles are really reliable. However, the situation is different when he is talking about digital coin investments.
