A bipartisan lawmaker group urges U.S. President Joe Biden to talk with the European leaders to "alter language" in their proposed Digital Markets Act (DMA)The group of lawmakers, led by Reps. D-Wash, Darin LaHood, RI11., and Suza Delbene said they are currently concerned about the EU's DMA.
Europea's DMA is Unfair Towards U.S. Tech Firms?
DMA is a legislative proposal of the European Commission to ensure a higher degree of competition in the E.U. Digital Markets.

This act's main goal is to prevent large companies from taking advantage of their power, allowing new tech firms to enter the EU's market.
However, some lawmakers claimed that DMA is quite unfair towards U.S. tech firms since this proposal considers them gatekeepers, as CNBC reported.
Because of this, the bipartisan group of lawmakers provided a letter claiming that DMA should somehow be adjusted.

Europe claims that DMA offers many benefits for tech firms and tech employees. These include the following:
