Apple is preparing for a big event in the next few weeks. During the big announcement, the Cupertino giant will unveil more about iPhone SE 3.

However, aside from that, we might see an upcoming iPhone 14, according to the recent leaks. It was believed that the trial production for this smartphone has already started overseas.

In an original report from Macrumors via Taiwan Economic Times, Apple has already rolled out production for the iPhone 14 models. The OEM trial stage was set and this hinted that we might see this gadget this year.

At the same time, BGR wrote in its report that Foxconn will be the one responsible for handling the Pro models. Meanwhile, the regular versions will be managed by Luxshare, a known supplier of consumer electronics based in China.

Usually, the tech titan begins its iPhone production in mid-February, if not later. By that time, it's checking the supplies and the important components needed for the trial. This would also ensure that its products will undergo rigorous quality control.

At the start of the trial production, the assessment for irregularities will take place. The supplier will take notice of the production. This is also the period when it decides if the products that undergo the trial are acceptable for release.

What Does iPhone 14 Look Like

In another article by News.com.au, the memory components of the new iPhone gadget have been confirmed. According to the source, the iPhone 14 will boast 8GB RAM. This is a huge upgrade from iPhone 13 Pro's 6GB RAM.

Prominent tipster John Prosser claimed that the iPhone 14 will feature a bulkier body which might result in the removal of the camera bump.

In relation to this, Tech Times reported earlier this year that it could potentially come with a pill-shaped camera. In addition, the leak also suggested that it would sport a Face ID under the display. This could possibly become available for the Pro models.

Indeed, 2022 might be the most awaited year for iPhone fans. This could be a breakthrough period for the release of the iPhone 14.

As a reference, Apple managed to release iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max. This year, we could anticipate the same pattern but under a different name: iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, iPhone 14 Pro Max, and iPhone 14 Max, per BGR.

For now, we have to wait for the official announcement that will come from the Cupertino giant. Aside from the March event, Apple will introduce iOS 16 for this year's WWDC.

Meanwhile, Apple might unveil M2 chips on four new Macs, according to the rumors spotted by Tech Times.
