The OnePlus 10 Pro folded in half during its latest durability test by YouTube content creator Zack Nelson, who goes by the channel name JerryRigsEverthing.
OnePlus 10 Pro
It is worth noting that the OnePlus 10 Pro has yet to be released in the international market. For now, the latest flagship smartphone of the Chinese phone maker is exclusively available in China.
As per a news story by The Verge, the next-gen OnePlus mobile device boasts tons of flagship specs, such as its massive battery and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, which is the flagship processor of Qualcomm.
Not to mention that its LTPO OLED display, which flaunts up to 120Hz of refresh rate, is also at par with the latest flagships out there.
So, expect the overall performance of the OnePlus 10 Pro to be nothing but a flagship smartphone.
OnePlus 10 Pro Durability Test
However, the latest OnePlus flagship showed its weakness in the latest durability test on YouTube, putting the OnePlus 10 Pro into various physical stresses.
According to a recent report by GSMArena, the signature durability test of JerryRigsEverthing includes scratching, burning, and even bending smartphones and other devices to push the limits of their strengths.
The display of the smartphone is protected by a Gorilla Glass Victus, which protects the screen from any scratches until the level 6 Moh hardness scale. As such, the phone did not disappoint when it came to the scratch test.
When it comes to the burning test, the OLED display of the flagship phone took 40 seconds before it started to get toasted, wherein the flame of a lighter is directly placed on its screen.
After which, it is interesting to point out that the display of the phone has never recovered from the burning test.

OnePlus 10 Pro Bend Durability Test
On top of that, the OnePlus 10 Pro also took the bend durability test.
For instance, The Verge said in the same report that one of the most notable bend tests is with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus, which were more easily bendable than its predecessor, the iPhone 5S.
The durability issue even got to a serious note when Apple was brought to court for its easily bendable smartphone. It turns out that the Cupertino-based tech giant knew about its frailty, according to an internal document.
This time around, the OnePlus 10 Pro, is up for the durability test challenge.
However, the bend test, which only used bare hands, folded the latest flagship smartphone in half, snapping it into two.
The YouTuber noted that the thin metal material of the smartphone could have affected its bend test durability.
