OnePlus Follow Up Tweet to Samsung

As per Financial Express, the mistaken promotional tweet was turned down swiftly by the people behind One Plus' account. However, people on the internet already memorialized it even before the tweet disappeared.

As such, the screenshot of the epic incident still exists on Twitterverse and elsewhere on the internet.

That said, Samsung and Oppo are not teaming up for a collaboration. It was a gaffle that someone from the social media team made that will live forever online.

Given that the gaffle is impossible to completely be forgotten, OnePlus India decided to take the incident lightly.

The Chinese phone maker wrote another tweet tagging Samsung's Twitter account, suggesting the South Korean company bring back the favor by promoting the smartphone of the former.

In the follow-up tweet, OnePlus also admitted that the promotional tweet is indeed a mistake on their part, dubbing it as "accidental."

Samsung Mobile has yet to issue its response to the incident.

SamMobile raised the idea that the social media agency behind the OnePlus brand in India perhaps also includes Samsung as their client. Thus, the confusion between two rivaling brands happened.

Meanwhile, here's a spec-by-spec battle of the smartphones of Samsung and OnePlus, the Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra and the OnePlus 9 Pro.
