You may soon avoid overheating your smartphones when placing them on Tesla's inductive charging platform on the car, intended for smartphones and devices. The new feature to turn on or off the inductive charger comes from a fan's request to have a switch for it, especially as it overheats the smartphone after placing it after getting a full charge.
Tesla Inductive Charging Will Get an On/Off Switch Thanks to Fan
A Tesla fan randomly tweeted the Tesla CEO about a feature that many people have used for a long time now, since its introduction several years ago. That feature is inductive charging that features a wireless component for the vehicle to charge the smartphone or other smart devices that supports replenishing the battery without the cables.
The fan asked if the feature could have an off or on switch for the user's preference, especially as after it charges the battery of the smartphone, it overheats when left there. The place remains an excellent place to set the smartphone when not used for navigation, says the Tesla fan. The only thing it needs to improve now is the option to turn it off.
CEO Elon Musk will Fulfill This Feature for Cars
Here, the Tesla CEO agreed with the user, and it is already a done deal for them.
It means that the feature will come soon, giving the Tesla car owners a chance to turn off the feature when not in use and avoid straining the battery for continued charging over time. Also, it would be a prominent place to store other devices without worrying about getting affected by the wireless charger.
Tesla EV Features
The world knows that current vehicles in the market are far more advanced than their mechanical predecessors and are now like smartphones that bring multiple features that one needs. Tesla is one of the most advanced cars with many technological features for its owners, and it will soon debut more for them.
That includes the "Global Headlamps Customizable for Countries," focusing on its requirement that differs per nation.
It also includes the Full-Self Driving beta that is currently at its testing mode, bringing a feature that promotes safe and effective driving to enjoy the vehicle's components. The CEO regarded that the Tesla FSD is "person-like," It would get its passengers out of harm's way to avoid dangers when it senses one, like humans.
Tesla's EV features bring a lot to the table, and this goes without saying that Musk and the clean energy company focused on getting what it offers to the public. Moreover, the car manufacturing company aims to listen to its drivers about suggestions on what to change or add for its features, something like what happened for its inductive charging.
