OMRON's CEO, Ranndy Kellogg, also the company's current president, shared their healthcare innovations. Aside from this, he also confirmed that they are now exploring the use of artificial intelligence in their technologies.
OMRON Corporation is a Japanese electronics company currently based in Kyoto, Japan. This tech manufacturer's expertise is in the healthcare tech sector, developing medical devices that sync with smartphones or tablets.
"We are a leader, especially in blood pressure monitoring and hypertension management with expansion into the whole cardiovascular field via EKG and some other technologies," said Kellogg.
OMRON's CEO Shares Healthcare Innovations
During the exclusive interview with Tech Times, OMRON's CEO said that their main focus for the past 40 years has been taking care of people's hearts.
He added that their blood pressure and hypertension management technologies could help them eliminate heart attacks and strokes.

On the other hand, Kellogg also mentioned their patient monitoring platform called Vitalsight.
"Vitalsight is our patient monitoring platform, our patient monitoring solution for the U.S. It's designed specifically for the U.S. because of the way healthcare is delivered here," said OMRON's president.
Now, Kellogg also explained how Vitalsight works. He said that they use Vitalsight to provide a kit that has a blood pressure monitor and a cellular hub.
Patients can receive this kit through their physicians. Ranndy also said that a cellular hub is essential since it allows consumers to efficiently use their kits because many U.S. residents don't have WiFi.
OMRON Exploration AI's Potential
Aside from Vitalsight, Kellogg also mentioned that OMRON is trying to explore the use of AI in its healthcare technologies.
He confirmed that they recently entered a partnership with Kyoto University, which is quite easy since this school is just in their "backyard."
OMRON's CEO further stated that they are now looking at all the data around various health factors affecting people's hearts. These include weight, physical activity, smoking habits, eating habits, and more.
