As per a report by Electrek, California remains to be the biggest market for Tesla in the United States. Evidently, two of its vehicles took two spots from the top five ranking of the best-selling cars in the state.
The California New Car Dealer Association or shortly known as the CNCDA, released its best-selling cars' data in the US state from last year.
The top-best selling cars data showed that the Toyota Camry sedan is the top-selling vehicle in 2021 with more than 61,000 units sold.
Meanwhile, two Tesla vehicles, the only EVs on the top five list, namely, the Model Y and the Model 3 took the 2nd and 5th ranking, respectively.
The Model Y SUV sold more than 60,000 units, whereas the Model 3 only booked 53,572 sales.
It is worth noting that the Model Y is the best-selling compact SUV in California, according to the overall data of CNCDA.
On the other hand, the Tesla Model 3 is the third best-selling sedan as Honda Civic took the 3rd spot in the overall rankings with over 59,000 units sold.

Meanwhile, another Toyota vehicle, the RAV4, took the fourth spot in the top five best-selling cars in California.
That said, both Toyota and Tesla took two spots in the top five rankings, while Honda got a single spot.
