Apple released a Personal Safety User Guide for the AirTags, particularly as the tech tracker is frequent for its misuse to stalk people and compromise their location. The intelligent tracker can easily mix with a person's belongings, and despite the many precautions by a person, it can still victimize them and affect their mental health.

AirTags and its Stalking Capabilities Seen Publicly
The Apple AirTags are trackers built to help people recover their lost goods that cannot be tracked digitally, especially those without any tech features. People who tend to forget may put it on keys, wallets, bags, and other personal belongings that are not technological or have no signals that it can transmit when it is lost.
There have been several concerns regarding the AirTags for different age groups, genders, and possible victims that may fall under the ploys of people with malicious intent.
One is the babies or toddlers that may swallow it or have access to its batteries that also lead to its ingestion, with some putting bitter coatings that may affect the device.
There were also reports regarding the AirTags' capabilities to stalk people, having the device in their possession, and not knowing that they are under surveillance from unknown people. Since then, Apple has already worked on tweaking this feature to make it known for people when they have unregistered AirTags within their possession.
Apple's work regarding safety when encountering the AirTags is extensive. Despite its release a year ago, Apple brings safety guides on what to do with the tech.
