The United States' Free COVID-19 Rapid Test Website recorded a massive wave of visitors since it first opened its operations, and it garnered more users than other ".gov" platforms. Many people around the country want to test themselves with the at-home testing kit, which would take more than two weeks for its delivery.
With the millions already visiting the website, will there be enough supplies to distribute to them all?
US' Free COVID-19 Rapid Test at Home: Website See Plenty of Visitors
COVIDtests.gov is a highly-visited government website now, and that is because COVID-19 is rampant in public now, with different states reporting a surge from the virus. An analytics platform by the US government monitors the traffic in the said website, and it records massive visitors for the test kit order platform alone.
Two of the top websites most visited by the country are the COVID test kit home page and the USPS tracking service; both are concerned with delivering the public's testing kit. USPS said it would provide the first batch of orders from the website by the first week of February.
The website says that the orders will come to one's home in 7 to 12 days from confirmation of the order.

COVID-19 Home Test Kit Website: Enough to Supply Whole Country?
For now, the test kits are enough to supply the whole country's demand for the at-home COVID rapid antigen tests that people can order free via the website. The US government has two billion test kits, with 500 million of its target deliveries offering four test kits per household.
It is unknown if the country will purchase more test kits once this first batch runs out in the future.
The website also says that if test kits run out, PCR test centers provide their services for free.
COVID-19 Home Test Kit: The Emergence of Need
A record number of cases emerged at the start of the New Year, and people feared for their lives as the Omicron variant spread its terror and disease throughout the country. In Washington, massive e-commerce company Amazon already helped the state distribute the rapid antigen COVID-19 home test kits as the surge in numbers peaked.
2022 also ushered in fear for new variants that combined old variants from coming together, including Flurona, Influenza, and Coronavirus in one; and the Deltacron, or the Delta and Omicron variants of COVID-19 together.
The massive cases early in the year demanded the need for COVID test kits at home as people worried that going out might cause them to spread more of the virus or get one in public.
The goal of the country and its government is to help people determine if they need further care, especially when testing positive for COVID-19 after exhibiting symptoms. The authorities did this by distributing the COVID-19 at-home test kits via its website, and while supplies are still available now, the massive demand for them might indicate it would not last long.
