Sony's PlayStation Plus has debuted the December 2021 free games that would come for both the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, bringing top titles that focus on action, adventure, and RPG. These titles circulate on three games, including that of "Mortal Shell," "Godfall Challenger Edition," and "LEGO DC Super-villains."
PlayStation Plus December 2021 Free Games
December is said to be the time for gifts and giving to others, something which Sony fulfills with its PlayStation Plus subscription game freebies that are available to subscribers of the platform. It is known that the PS Plus has a subscription freebie game each month but what changes now is its availability to both the PS4 and PS5 platforms.
The last month had four games in total, one for PS4, two for PS5, and one for PSVR, which is more than the release now. PSVR Games are also coming with the PS Plus December 2021 freebies, including titles like "The Persistence," "The Walking Dead Saints and Sinners," and "Until You Fall."
Now, the titles focus on action-adventure games, all of which are also featuring the role-playing game setup where people get a deep dive into a character's storyline and adventures. The subscription platform now also has Crunchyroll and Apple Music.
'Mortal Shell'
"Mortal Shell" is a deep-rooted single-player action RPG title that has a high Metacritic score and Google games ranking, which makes it an excellent game that is free for the PS Plus December 2021. Released last 2020, the game is one of the top regarded single-player games available in the market now, bringing the top-rated title to the console and PC platform.
'Godfall Challenger Edition'
Heroic Knights, slasher, action-adventure, and one of the top-regarded games of 2020 but has sustained mixed reviews from the public and critics, "Godfall" is here for the freebie of the PS Plus. Note that this is not just any release of the game, but the "Challenger Edition" which presents more than the original game with special additions to its plot and modes.
The Challenger Edition was long-awaited as well, with its revelation set almost the same time as the release for the PS Plus freebie games, meaning that it is first and exclusive to PlayStation users. This also comes as a treat for gamers, especially with it being a freebie with its expanded edition.
'LEGO DC Super-Villain'
Lastly, Sony is putting "LEGO DC Super-Villain" on the map again with its release as a freebie to the PS Plus subscription platform, joining the likes of two heavy action-adventure titles. The game focuses on being bad as it joins the likes of DC Baddies like the Joker and Harley Quinn in wreaking havoc for heroes to solve and fight.
The setup here is inverted, as gamers get to be the bad guy and fight those who are fighting for the peace of the cities that are trashed by these villains.
