Jimmy Kimmel Live! has always hosted some of the best guests on the late night circuit, and if anyone ever needed proof of that, they only need to watch this week's episodes. After that, it's easy to understand why Jimmy Kimmel's late-night show is so popular.
For instance: when Expedia hosted a survey of what kinds of passengers ruin flying for everyone else, Jimmy Kimmel didn't just regurgitate the data. Instead, he sifted through the statistics and polls, did the leg work, and presented Expedia's findings in a way that people will find bearable.
Oh, and he got Patrick Stewart to act it out.
On one hand, it's great to watch Patrick Stewart act. On the other, it's painful to be reminded as to just how bad flying can be, and just how bad some other passengers are. Stewart's acting isn't even that over-the-top: who hasn't been bothered by someone talking or kicking non-stop for an entire flight? It's a nightmare.
Of course, as great an actor as he is, Patrick Stewart can't fill an entire week's worth of shows with just one appearance. Luckily enough, Jimmy got a hold of a brand new Taken 4 trailer, only five days after Taken 3 hit theaters. Sure, it's a bit of a fast turnaround, but is anyone going to complain about more Liam Neeson?
Sure, Taken 3 is doing extremely well in theaters, but given the critical reception of the film, Taken 4: A-Paco-Lypse might actually do better than its predecessor. People love watching movies about dogs, and just about anything would hold up better than Taken 3 has...
As long as Jimmy Kimmel himself continues to play the villain with that glorious perm, Taken 4 is a guaranteed hit.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! airs weeknights at 11:35pm on ABC.
