Motion Picture Academy President Cheryl Boone Isaacs has only been on the job for a year and a half, but she may have just made the one statement she will be forever remembered for.
At this morning's 2015 Academy Award nominations ceremony, Isaacs appeared alongside actor Chris Pine to announce the second half of the Oscar noms. As she was announcing the nominees for Best Cinematography, the teleprompter brought up "Dick Pope," the cinematographer on the movie Mr. Turner. And that was when it happened.
Ladies and gentlemen, we give you... Dick Poop. If you're thinking that maybe Twitter might display some grace and decorum over this one, you are of course dead wrong.
"Guys, stop it! I'm practicing names here and you idiots yelling 'dick poop' is not helping!" - Cheryl Boone Isaacs last night, probably — Brian Sargent (@awrightbrian) January 15, 2015
Dick Poop is the new Adele Dazeem.

Just played the Dick Poop vine super loud in class because I thought my volume was turned down. I'm not even mad.

It's oddly comforting to know that no matter what happens, we will always laugh when someone accidentally says "Dick Poop" on national TV

And we all saw this next bit coming, right?
It had to happen. Dick Poop has his own twitter: @oscarfordick Says he's "flushed" with excitement. — eric spillman (@ericspillman) January 15, 2015
Yeah, that happened.
I am absolutely delighted by my Oscar nomination for "Mr. Turder." Thank you, Academy! #DickPoop
