The 2015 Academy Award nominations were announced this morning, and it seemed pretty obvious to all ahead of time that The LEGO Movie was going to be the frontrunner for Best Animated Film. Imagine their shock when it didn't even get nominated.
Needless to say, The LEGO Movie fans are less than happy about it. Even "Everything Is Awesome" being nominated for Best Song — which was equally astounding — couldn't make it better. Some are in all-out nerdrage mode. Once the Best Animated Film nominations were announced, Twitter lit up with comments. Here are some highlights.
