Trailer For Hilarious Superhero Comedy Adventure 'Supreme League Of Patriots' Released

For those video gamers who like a little humor with their classic-style point-and-click adventure games, you're in luck. No Bull Intentions' Supreme League of Patriots, published by Phoenix Online Studios, is now available for pre-order.

But that's not all. The developer also just released this hilarious (and often irreverent) trailer for the superhero comedy.

You might want to throw on a cape and mask for this hilarious adventure which covers everything from politics to pop culture. The game introduces us to Kyle Keever, a politically incorrect man who is trying to win a spot on a reality TV show called America's Got Superpowers. However, as is the case with super powers, sometimes crazy things happen. After a freak accident, Kyle's alter-ego takes over with a mission, being a superhero in New York. Of course, he's not just any superhero, though, his version is twisted and highly inappropriate.

"I'm a huge fan of classic point-and-click adventures," says No Bull Intentions creative director Phil Ings. "I wanted to take that classic gameplay and fuse it with the satirical, subversive humor you expect from Family Guy or South Park, and the high production values you associate with modern adventures."

Players take on two characters in the game: Kyle and his sarcastic sidekick, Mel, as they fight their way through a world of weird villains during three episodes of gameplay. And if you get stuck, the game features a fully integrated hint system.

The game also boasts an original soundtrack composed by Jake "Virt" Kaufman, who also scored Contra 4, Red Faction: Guerrila, Shovel Knight and DuckTales: Remastered.

"The Purple Patriot is such a thoroughly obnoxious, yet hopelessly inept, character," says Ings. "I can't wait to see how people react to him."

It seems like Supreme League of Patriots might be a throwback to classic title Leisure Suit Larry.

All three episodes of Supreme League of Patriots, drops on January 29 for PC, Mac and Linux, but you can pre-order now on Steam and through the Phoenix Online store. The season pass is $14.99 with individual episodes priced at $5.99. If you order early, though, you can grab a 10 percent discount.
