Konami and Bloober Team agreed to collaborate to create a new route for new game developments in the future. The "strategic partnership" between the two companies could mean that the long-rumored "Silent Hill" would arrive soon. How true is this?
What Does the Merge Mean For Konami and Bloober?
On Wednesday, June 30, Bloober Team CEO Piotr Babieno lauded the partnership of his company with Konami. During the merge, he praised the collaboration of the two developers.
"It is a historic day for me and the culmination of several years of our work," Babieno said in a press release via Games Radar.
Before, fans have been thinking of a possible company that Konami would choose for its next game in development. At the moment, there is no answer that the Japanese game publisher could provide, but this opens a lot of doors of possibilities that an old game franchise would be reborn later.

Will This Mean Konami is Acquiring Bloober?
Currently, one thing is guaranteed to happen: the strategic cooperation of Bloober Team and Konami will mean that the gaming community should never sleep on the news.
At the moment, being long-term partners will not only be equated to business but also to strengthening campaigns concerning the growing field of gaming.
For those who are asking if the partnership will mean that Konami will absorb "The Medium" developer, the answer is no. It is only strategic teamwork for both worlds. Most likely, they will now begin sharing ideas, brainstorming concepts, and consulting each other for the game improvements.
New Konami IP Sparks Controversy
Hideki Hayakawa, the president of Konami, said that the company is expecting to combine its strengths and characteristics with Bloober Team en route to the creation of "high-quality" content, Push Square reported.
An anonymous Konami spokesperson stated that they are planning to continue the current and new IPs with the Bloober team. In hindsight, this action could suggest the arrival of a new "Silent Hill" game as the rumors reported before.
For "Silent Hill" fans, this initiative will be a rumor-ending solution for the doubters. Konami did not tell further if it is now starting a project with Bloober for a new title.
When "The Medium" came out to the public, the fans went crazy in comparing it with "Silent Hill." They could be correct with their hunch and they could be wrong, as well. Bloober Team might be only using "The Medium'' as an icing on a cake.
Well, we have no idea of what could happen next until we hear more about Akira Yamaoka.
Expect that great things are on their way after this collaboration. Konami and Bloober Team's partnership is just the beginning and there are more to come this year.
