Asus ZenFone 8 US Launch
According to GSMArena, the Asus ZenFone 8 is a compact smartphone, contrary to most flagship phones. However, it still does not lack in power and has the features that its counterpart carries -- albeit its size.
To be precise, the ZenFone 8 sports a 5.92 inches Super AMOLED 124 Hz display. Its resolution could go as high as 2448x1080 FHD+. Notably, the Corning Gorilla Glass Victus touchscreen makes the phone's front durable.
SlashGear added that the pixel density of the smartphone averages at 445 pixels per inch.
Also, the refresh rate notably passes the standard of casual gamers out there. Not to mention that its 240Hz rate of touch sampling goes as fast as 1ms in response time. It is something to look forward to from the Asus flagship.
Its bargain price, celebrating its debut, will last until July 14, so hurry up and cop the Asus flagship to get that $30 discount.
Asus ZenFone 8 US Features: Sony Cameras
The ASUS ZenFone 8 is debuting in the U.S. with an Android 11 and ZenUI 8, the personalized interface of the company for its latest smartphone.
The Sony-powered image processors power all the cameras of the Asus phone. Its main snapper has both 64 MP and a 1/1.7 sensor from the Japanese giant. Meanwhile, the macro camera likewise carries a 1/2.55 sensor.
The phone also has video recording capabilities of up to 8K.

Asus ZenFone 8 US Features: Snapdragon 888 and 5G
At its price point, users could experience the power that the Snapdragon 888 boasts. The processor is paired with an 8GB RAM. As mentioned, it also supports both 4G/LTE and 5G connection, as well as the obvious WiFi and Bluetooth capabilities.
The phone packs a 4000mAh battery, which is necessary for the 5G. It could charge up to 60% in as quick as 25 minutes.
That said, the tagline of Asus' latest smartphone, which claims that it is "big on performance," is not creating false expectations.
Yes, the Asus ZenFone 8 is not something that users would not find in other flagships, but given its price and compact size, it is impressive.
Elsewhere, Lenovo is already gearing up to launch the first smartphone powered by the Snapdragon 895.
