Motorola is making sure that this time, the United States will be the first one to test the upcoming Moto G Stylus 5G when it comes to the American market. Previously, the consumer-friendly phones, Moto E and Moto G have been launched in Europe, but not in their originating country. As a result, North American users could only glimpse the smartphones over the internet during the initial release.
This year, the former model of the boasted Moto Stylus has come out for its line-up expansion. However, a lot of fans have been dazed about the actual appearance of the product since many leaks have teased that its design would be far different than the original.
Now, the company clarified that it would be coming with a "slightly" better design for the touch-pen gadget. The good news: US-based users would be the first to experience how it works.
Comparing the Moto G Stylus's Old and Latest Version
According to Slashgear's report on Wednesday, June 9, the earlier model of Moto G Stylus, this year comes close with the appearance of the most recent 5G version. For this part, the Moto G Stylus 5G seems to be bulky and heavier compared to the older edition, but in terms of their specs, the latter has progressed a lot so far.
This June's Moto G Stylus would be donning a high-resolution (1080p) screen that measures 6.8 inches. For its camera, it would sport an upgraded 5MP macro camera, as well as the main cameras which have 48 MP and an 8 MP wide-shooting camera.
It is expected that it would come with the same software that the 2021 version previously featured. Motorola, at the time, guaranteed that users could easily utilize the stylus which would be guided by the smooth screen. You could also conveniently scribble a note in the Moto Notes app besides the lock screen.
Having said this, users should lower their expectations about this smartpen tab. In fact, it won't get near the levels of what Galaxy S21 and Galaxy Note have achieved because there's no pressure sensitivity featured in the Moto G Stylus stick.
The most noteworthy edge of the Stylus 5G is its big-time processor. Compared to the 2021's Snapdragon 678 chip which could not enable 5G connectivity, the latest Moto stylus brags its Snapdragon 480 5G set up for faster processing and rendering. In addition, its 5,000 mah battery would surely provide an everlasting span for your device.
Another big revelation coming from Motorola is the 128GB storage configuration which is one of its major upgrades. The company also said that the Moto G Stylus 5G has 256GB of physical storage and 6GB RAM.
Launch Date and Price of Moto G Stylus 5G
Fans could purchase Moto G Stylus 5G on June 14 at $399.99 despite the downgrade that it received in its Snapdragon 678, GSM Arena reported. You could potentially look for other smartphones at a cheaper price and a similar chipset, however, it all boils down to containing a device-changing stylus which many of them don't have.
